Richard Chen is a Partner and serves as the General Counsel of Veris. He has more than 20 years of legal experience. Located in the firm’s New York office, Richard advises the firm’s senior management on a wide range of legal, regulatory and compliance issues.
Prior to joining Veris, Richard worked for some of the world’s pre-eminent law firms. His work included engagements with investment advisory firms, hedge and private equity fund sponsors, investment managers, and financial planners, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions on compliance, fund formation, and other securities law-related matters. Richard graduated from Harvard College in 1995 and Harvard Law School in 1998.
Lori Choi, CFA

Lori Choi is a Partner, Senior Advisor, and CFA® Charterholder at Veris Wealth Partners. Lori has over 18 years of experience in wealth management and financial services, and is passionate about helping individuals, families, and foundations have a positive social and environmental impact with their wealth. Lori also serves on the Veris Board of Managers.
Prior to joining Veris, Lori was Vice President of Account Management at Markit, a global financial information services company, and Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of Hawaii Private Client Services.
Lori graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics. Lori is a co-founder of Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE), a community for people who identify as women to connect, grow, and share, with the purpose of advancing sustainable investing and women’s leadership.
Nicole Davis
Partner | Senior Advisor | Board of Managers
Nicole Davis is a Partner and Senior Advisor at Veris Wealth Partners, and she also serves on the Board of Managers and also is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Nicole is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) professional. She specializes in creating highly impactful private investment portfolios, tailored to clients’ thematic interests and works with many of the firm’s largest foundation clients.
Prior to joining Veris, Nicole was Portfolio Manager and Assistant Vice President with Bank of Hawaii’s Private Client Asset Management Team, where she constructed portfolios, performed equity research, and directly managed over $300 million in client assets. She has over 20 years of financial services industry experience.
Nicole is a volunteer and former Executive Committee member of the Surfrider Foundation NH Chapter, an organization committed to protecting the ocean and beach access. She was previously a member of the CEI Notes Advisory Board, a community investment notes program of the Maine based CDFI, Coastal Enterprises Inc (CEI). Nicole graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Economics. She lives with her family in Portsmouth, NH.
Karen deRochemont
Partner | Managing Director of Client Service
Karen Walls deRochemont is a Partner and the Managing Director of Client Service for Veris Wealth Partners. She is responsible for supporting the uniform client service delivery across the firm through proactive client service development, training, and communications to all Veris offices. Karen supports Client Service Associates, Advisors, Partners and external service providers to ensure efficient day-to-day client service and to provide a high level of client service to the firm’s clients. She also manages the private placement administration for all Veris clients.
Karen has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and previously worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at PENSCO Trust Company, a self-directed IRA custodian specializing in alternative assets in retirement accounts. She also worked at Prime, Buchholz & Associates, an investment consulting firm, as a Performance Analyst Manager and an Investment Analyst. Prior to joining Prime, Buchholz & Associates, Karen worked in various client service positions at John Hancock.
Sandra Guerrero

Sandra Guerrero is Veris Partner and an Advisor in the firm’s Oakland office. She is passionate about helping individuals, families, and foundations have a positive social and environmental impact with their wealth. Sandra has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She serves as the Co-Chair of Veris’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee.
Prior to joining Veris, Sandra worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager with Mellon Capital where she was responsible for the oversight and management of international, domestic, emerging and frontier index strategies across separate accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, and currency hedged funds for foundations, Institutions and Ultra-High Wealth clients. She has also worked at other firms such as BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors in various capacities from operations, index research, Asset Allocation, Portfolio Management including assisting and creating customized solutions for clients.
Eric Hsueh, CAIA
Partner | Managing Director, Investments
Eric Hsueh is a Partner and Managing Director of Investments at Veris. He is responsible for sourcing, due diligence and monitoring of investments across asset classes, thematic research, capital markets analysis, and impact measurement and management.
Prior to Veris, Eric led the sustainable and impact private markets investments due diligence practice at Bivium Capital Partners. Before that, Eric led the manager due diligence team at Cornerstone Capital Group (later acquired by Pathstone Family Office), a sustainable and impact investment focused boutique. At Cornerstone, he was responsible for sourcing, analysis, and monitoring of multi-asset class sustainable and impact investments. Preceding Cornerstone Capital Group, Eric spent a dozen years in Northern Trust’s Outsourced CIO division in various roles spanning from manager research to institutional client portfolio management. He started his career at Cambridge Associates in the Marketable Manager Research group.
Eric earned his BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder and is a member of the CAIA Association and CAIA New York. He is also a member of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM). He lives with his family in Westchester, NY.
Tim Kingsbury, CFP®

Tim Kingsbury is a Veris Partner, Advisor, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Based in the firm’s New York office, Tim is focused on helping clients meet their financial and impact goals.
Prior to Veris, Tim worked for eight years at Wetherby Asset Management in San Francisco, most recently as a Senior Investment Associate. At Wetherby, Tim helped high-net-worth families, charitable organizations and institutions with financial planning and portfolio management, employing both impact and traditional investments. Early in his career, he also held positions in research and operations at Llenroc Capital. Tim graduated from James Madison University with a B.B.A in International Business – Finance Concentration and a B.A. in Spanish. He resides in the New York metro area.

Sheryl Kucer is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Veris, and she serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Managers. Sheryl has over 15 years of experience working with financial advisory firms in leadership and operational capacities and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
Prior to joining Veris, Sheryl was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Dyson Capital Advisors, where she had general oversight of information technology, human resources, operations, finance, and compliance. Sheryl began her career learning the operational aspects of the investment advisory business at several small to mid-size investment advisory firms and her experience includes managing operations teams through mergers and acquisitions. As Director and Head of Client Service and Operations at Tiedemann Advisors, Sheryl managed a team of 20 associates tasked with handling the operational needs of advisors and clients.
Sheryl serves on the board of PowerCorpsPHL, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization focused on green workforce development initiatives that help un- and under-employed 18–30-year-olds get work experience and living wage jobs in clean energy, green infrastructure, and other fields. She graduated from George Washington University. Sheryl lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband and two children.
Elena Ladygina

Elena Ladygina is a Veris Partner and Senior Advisor in the firm’s New York office. She is CFA® Charterholder and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. Elena brings two decades of wealth management and financial services experience to Veris. She partners with high net worth individuals and families as well as foundations and other organizations to help them preserve, grow, and make impact with their wealth through ongoing tailored advice and implementation of multi-asset investment portfolios. She takes pride in acting as her clients’ personal financial life consultant and simplifying the complicated.
Before joining Veris, Elena held senior roles at several national boutique wealth management firms both in New York City and New Jersey. She was responsible for analyzing clients’ portfolios, overseeing investment strategy and manager selection, recommending and implementing investment solutions, and maintaining client relationships with complicated financial structures. She was also head of the wealth management business in regional offices and co-headed the firms’ marketing and business strategy efforts. Elena has over 10 years of experience serving on Investment Committees.
Elena is on the board of trustees of one of the largest nonprofit senior housing organizations in NJ. She chairs the organization’s Investment Committee and serves on the Finance and Audit committees.
A graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Elena lives in Rumson, NJ. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with her husband and sons.
Tracey Lynch, CDFA®

Tracey Lynch is a Partner and Associate Director of National Client Service at Veris Wealth Partners and holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation. Based in our Portsmouth office, Tracey oversees the onboarding, administration, and performance reporting of clients’ private placement and CDFI investments. She has fourteen years of experience in the financial services industry, and previously worked at Prime, Buchholz & Associates, an investment consulting firm, as an Investment Analyst. Most recently, Tracey was the Donor Relations Manager at Education for All Children, a nonprofit that provides access to education, mentoring and career training to disadvantaged youth in Kenya.
Tracey serves on the board of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle, a nonprofit that assesses needs in the community and raises funds, through collective giving, to address those needs. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. Tracey lives with her family in Portsmouth, NH.
Garrett Markley, CFP®

Garrett Markley is a Partner, Advisor, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the New York office of Veris Wealth Partners. He specializes in creating impactful investment portfolios tailored to clients’ values and financial goals.
Prior to joining Veris full-time, Garrett supported Veris’ research department as a Graduate Intern, while earning his Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Garrett received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The George Washington University. He lives with his family in Westchester, New York.
Roraj Pradhananga, CIMA®, CPA

Roraj Pradhananga is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Veris Wealth Partners. He chairs the firm’s Board of Managers and Executive Committee. Roraj also leads Veris’ Investments team and chairs the firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for thought leadership, investments across asset classes, thematic research, and impact measurement and management.
Roraj has over 18 years of experience across wealth management, asset management, banking, and insurance. Prior to joining Veris, Roraj was a Sustainability Investing Analyst at RobecoSAM in Zurich, Switzerland, where he developed and implemented sustainability, ESG and impact investing solutions across core, thematic, and impact investment strategies and covered the consumer discretionary and telecoms sectors. Before RobecoSAM, he was a Vice President in Debt Capital Markets at Citigroup in New York. He started his career at KPMG in New York in the Insurance and Asset Management practices.
Roraj holds an MBA (Honors) from IMD Business School in Switzerland and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He lives with his family in NY.
Jane Swan

Jane Swan, CFA is a Partner, Senior Advisor, and the Chief Advisory Officer at Veris Wealth Partners and she serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. She leads the firm’s Oakland office. Jane began working in the field of socially responsible investing in 1996. Jane serves as investment advisor to foundations and endowments interested in leveraging their investment strategy to maximize community impact in service of their mission. She builds holistic relationships with wealthy families, individuals, foundations, and endowments, integrating their values and mission with a customized investment strategy.
Jane serves on Veris’ DEIB Committee in the role of Partner Sponsor. She also serves as Head of Advisory Services, and on Veris’ Management Team, Investment Committee, Compensation Committee, and Compliance Committee. Jane brings an equity lens to each of these committees, reinforcing that we cannot simply be better than our industry peers on issues like compensation and career pathing. We must recognize areas where industry standards perpetuate inequality, and we must also strive to dismantle those barriers to equality. In leading our Advisory Services, she elevates opportunities for innovation on impact with a robust investment analysis process.
Prior to joining Veris, Jane worked as a Portfolio Manager and Vice President with Northern Trust where she served families as well as private and community foundations. Jane got her start in the investment industry at Progressive Asset Management.
Jane is on the Board of Horizons Foundation, supporting LGBTQ+ communities, primarily in California. She is chair of their Investment Committee and serves on their Executive Committee. Jane graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California with a degree in Economics and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Board of Managers
Veris’ Board of Managers is a distinct governance body, separate from the Partnership, the Executive Committee, and the Management Team. Board members have three-year terms with two consecutive term limits. The Board Chair is Roraj Pradhananga and the other four members are Lori Choi, Nicole Davis, Sheryl Kucer, and Brad Mook from Rosemont Investing Group.
